Gardaí hunting a man believed to have been responsible for a string of robberies in south Dublin have released photographs of him.
The photographs were taken from CCTV footage taken during a robbery at the Permanent TSB branch in Blackrock on October 4th.
The man entered the building, grabbed a female member of staff and held a large knife to her throat. He escaped on foot with an undisclosed quantity of cash.
The suspect, who is in his twenties, is described as being around five feet, ten inches tall; of thin build; and with reddish hair. Gardaí added that he has long sideburns and appears to have a prominent left ear.
He is believed to have carried out similar raids in Stillorgan and Dundrum. An elderly woman was attacked and seriously injured in one of these robberies.
