Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault just before Christmas in which a 17-year-old youth was injured.
Gardaí appealed for witnesses to an incident on Middle Abbey Street at about 2.30am on December 22nd last.
The teenager was found in an injured state and was taken to the Mater hospital.
"Gardaí were called to the scene of this incident where a number of people were fighting and gardaí would like any person who was in the vicinity and has information to contact Store Street gardai on 01-666-8000 or the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111," a Garda statement said.
