"A woman was approached by a man as she stood on O'Connell Street waiting for a taxi and engaged in conversation," a Garda spokesman said.  The two then walked down Eden Quay to the nearby bus station where they got a taxi.

"This taxi took them to an apartment complex opposite the Fire Station at North Strand where they both got out. The woman was then sexually assaulted in the apartment complex," the spokesman said.
