Gardaí are today searching for two men who robbed a bank in Co Dublin yesterday.
The two, one armed with a shotgun, went into the bank on Church Street, Skerries, at 3.40 p.m. yesterday and left with a quantity of cash.
The used a stolen red BMW car with a "92 MN" registration in the raid. They left the scene of the robbery in the car in the direction of the Dublin Road, driving the wrong way around a roundabout.
The car was stolen in Malahide some time on Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The BMW was later abandoned in Milverton, Skerries.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the bank or outside it between 3.30 p.m. and 3.45 p.m. yesterday to come forward. They also want to speak to a woman driving a Peugeot who may have seen the car driving on the roundabout in Skerries.
Officers in Balbriggan are investigating.
