The home of former government minister, Mr Ray Burke, was searched by gardaí yesterday as part of their investigations arising from the Flood report.
Gardaí searched Mr Burke's home in the Whitehall area of Dublin and several business premises in the Dublin and Meath areas in their investigation of corrupt payments.
A considerable volume of documentation was seized by gardaí during the searches and this will be examined by the Criminal Assets Bureau and the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation over the coming weeks.
Shortly after the Flood report's publication, the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern directed that it be sent to the CAB, the Revenue Commissioners, the Office of Corporate Enforcement, the DPP and the Garda Commissioner.
