Gardai have released without charge a man whom they had been questioning in relation to the Omagh bombing.
The 45-year-old man from Co Monaghan was released at around 3.30 p.m. this afternoon. He was being interviewed at Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. He was arrested on Wednesday.
Another man who was being held for questioning was released last night.
The 1998 attack on Omagh, Co Tyrone, killed 29 people and injured nearly 300. So far only one man, Colm Murphy, from Co Louth, has been charged in connection with the bombing. He was convicted in Dublin's anti-terrorist Special Criminal Court earlier this year.
