Gardaí said tonight all eight people being questioned in connection with the gangland murder of Seamus O'Byrne in Tallaght last week have been freed.
A woman in her 20s became the eighth person to be questioned over the murder when she was arrested last night. She was freed today.
Three of those arrested — two men aged 31 and 33 and a 35-year-old woman — were freed tonight. A Garda spokesman said files were being prepared for the DPP.
Four other people were freed earlier.
Mr O’Byrne (27) was shot dead and his 26-year-old partner was injured during the attack in Tymon North Park in Tallaght, south Dublin last Friday night.
The murder has been linked to a feud between rival crime gangs in the Crumlin and Drimnagh areas.
Detectives have appealed for help in tracing the movements of a white five-door Nissan Micra hatchback, registration number 93 MH 3613, which they believe is connected with the murder.
"Anyone who may know the current location of the vehicle or have seen the vehicle in the days prior to or since March 13th is asked to contact the incident room at Tallaght garda station," said a Garda spokesman.
