A man has been arrested after gardaí found €20,000 worth of cannabis and seized six cars during searches at two halting sites in west Dublin.
Gardaí and officers from the Revenue, Department of Social Protection and South Dublin County Council participated in the operation in the Ronanstown area this morning.
Representatives of the Criminal Assets Bureau, Garda stolen car unit and air support unit were also involved.
Quantities of herbal cannabis and resin with an estimated street value of €20,000 were found during the operation.
Six vehicles and a number of other items, including trailers and a generator, were also seized, a Garda spokesman said.
A man was arrested and brought to Ronanstown Garda station following the operation.
He is being held under an outstanding arrest warrant, the spokesman added.
