Gardaí are still questioning a man and a woman in their mid-20s who were arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of David Lynch (26) whose body was found earlier this week on waste ground in north Dublin.

The two, reportedly arrested at a Dublin city centre hotel, were detained for questioning at Coolock and Swords Garda stations under Section 50 of The Criminal Justice Act.

Mr Lynch, who had been shot three times in the head, was discovered at 4pm on Monday in an area near Darndale.
