Gardaí in Carlow have sought the help of the public in tracing the movements of a woman found dead in the town yesterday afternoon.
Gardai today identified the woman as Teresa Hayden (58), from St Mary's Park, Carlow.
The alarm was raised by a member of the public at 4.30pm when the body was discovered in a field at Ballyvergal, off the Castledermot road about 2km from Carlow town.
Gardai would like information about Ms Hayden's movements between Thursday, July 2nd and yesterday afternoon, July 16th.

Preliminary post mortem results are due later today. Gardai said the postmortem results will determine the nature of their investigation.
