In Whitehall, gardaí are seeking a man who entered a building society at around 2.20 p.m. with a shotgun.

No one was injured in the robbery and no shots were fired. The man escaped with an amount of cash.

Earlier today, two men, one armed with a shotgun, entered the office of a supermarket in Santry shortly after 1 p.m. and demanded cash.

They made off with an undisclosed amount of cash in a car that was later recovered by the Gardai. No one was injured during the raid.
