Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in his fifties who was found in his house in Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
His body was found by relatives who called to the house in the Cherrymount area at 7 p.m. last night.
The dead man was found in an upstairs bedroom, and gardaí say there were marks on his body. There was no sign of a break-in.
The Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, was due at the scene this morning and a post-mortem is expected later today.
