Gardaí have confirmed the identity of a body found in a shed in Co Galway yesterday.
Gardaí have confirmed that the body is that of Richard Carrick (28) of St Joseph's Place, Ballinasloe, Co Galway, who has not been seen since the early hours of Saturday, February 16th last.
The body, which was badly burned, was found in a shed at the rear of an unoccupied house shortly before midday in Ballinasloe.
A post mortem was carried out today by the office of the State Pathologist, in the Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. As a result of the post mortem gardaí said they are satisfied that foul play is not suspected.
