Gardaí in Cork are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who has been missing for five days.
John O’Brien (47) has not been to his home in Douglas since 6pm on Friday, and his family and gardaí are concerned for his safety and well-being as he was on medication.
Mr O’Brien is described as being 5ft 10ins in height and around 20 stone, with short black receding hair and glasses.
He may be in possession of a silver Hyundai Accent car with the registration 99-C-4775.
He was seen yesterday on the on the Western Road in Cork wearing a dark-coloured zip up fleece, denim jeans and a grey polo shirt.
Gardaí have asked that any sightings of Mr O’Brien or his car be reported to Douglas Garda station on 021 4891115 or Togher Garda Station on 021 4947120 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666111.
