Gardaí in Dublin are seeking witnesses to a serious assault on a man last August.

According to the Garda, the assault happened on Thursday, August 18th, 2005, at 3am. A man in his 30s was found seriously injured at Hubbard Road, Bluebell.

He was taken to St James's Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

A Garda statement said: "It is believed that the injured man was assaulted by up to three men, and a number of persons have been interviewed in connection with the investigation.
