Chelsea defender William Gallas is considering his future at Stamford Bridge and could be set to quit the club despite the revolution currently taking place under new owner Roman Abramovich.
The Russian oil billionaire is ploughing millions into player purchases, with Real Madrid midfielder Geremi and West Ham's young full-back Glen Johnson already acquired at a cost of nearly stg£15million and a stg£18m bid reportedly lined up for Blackburn winger Damien Duff.
But that has not been enough to convince Gallas his long-term future lies at Stamford Bridge and he is stalling on signing a new contract while there is reported interest from Barcelona.
"I got confirmation about the interest from Barcelona, now their officials and my agent should have had a meeting," the France international told the Daily Star.
"It will all depend on Chelsea's reinforcements, which will play in four competitions this season.
"I want to win something and I hope I can do so with Chelsea, but the door is not closed.
"The proposition from other clubs should be very attractive to me.
"I am currently on holiday and will make my decision when I get back."
