The funeral of former BBC television presenter Mark Speight will take place in his home city today.
The service, being held at Wolverhampton’s St Michael and All Angels Church, comes a fortnight after the 42-year-old was found hanged near London’s Paddington railway station.
Speight, who was born in Wolverhampton, was found dead on April 13th in a partially disused office block beside the station after leaving two suicide notes.
He is said to have been unable to come to terms with the death of his fiancee,Natasha Collins.
Ms Collins, who had taken cocaine and sleeping tablets, died at the couple's flat in St John's Wood, north-west London, in January.
A coroner later recorded a verdict of death by misadventure on Miss Collins after hearing how she suffered serious burns in a bath of hot water.
Speight was briefly held on suspicion of her murder before detectives "cancelled" his arrest and said he was not a suspect.
