The funeral takes place today of a Co Antrim man who died four days after being stabbed with a screwdriver. Mr Kenneth Auld (47), of Ballywee Road, Ballyclare, was stabbed in the head in an incident at Toberwine road in the village of Glenarm early last Tuesday morning. It is believed that he was attacked after he came across a group of people removing a loyalist flag from a lamp post.
The service will take place at a funeral home in Ballyclare, followed by cremation in Belfast. A man has been charged with attempted murder.
