French international striker Youri Djorkaeff has completed his move from Kaiserslautern to Bolton, the German club said today.
Kaiserslautern president Jurgen Friedrich confirmed the move at a afternoon press conference this afternoon.
Djorkaeff joined Kaiserslautern from Inter Milan in the 2000/01 pre-season but is considered surplus to requirements by coach Andreas Brehme.
Djorkaeff said by going to Bolton, where he has agreed a three-month contract, it will help his chances of regaining his place in the French international squad and revive his chances of going to the World Cup.
