French police arrested a suspected logistics expert for Basque separatist group ETA in a raid on a flat in southwest France today, police sources said.
Mr Oyarzabal Txarpategui and two women were arrested in the town of Dax, the sources told reporters.
In March, another suspected ETA logistics expert, Luis Michelena Berasarte, was arrested near the border between France and Spain after 1.6 tonnes of explosives were stolen from a warehouse near Grenoble, eastern France.
ETA has been blamed for more than 800 deaths in a 33-year campaign of violence for an independent state in Basque areas of northern Spain and southwest France.
