Llewellyn Olemide Adams (23), from London, was also charged with the attempted murder of Mary-Ann's 18-year-old friend who has not been named. He will appear before Reading Magistrates' Court today. Three men have already been remanded in custody over the attack which police have described as horrendous. Mary-Ann's father, Bertie, is from Bangor Erris, Co Mayo.

Adrian Thomas (19), of southeast London, and Indrit Krasniqi (18), of west London, were charged with murder, kidnap and attempted murder while Jamaile Morally (21), of Balham, southwest London, faces the same charges and also one of rape.

Mary-Ann died from a stab wound to the neck earlier this month. Her friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, survived being shot in the head.
