Four young people have died on the North's roads over the Easter holiday

Four young people have died on the North's roads over the Easter holiday. Ms Paula Murphy (18) was killed in an accident just outside Omagh, Co Tyrone, on Sunday night. She was a backseat passenger in a car which crashed on the Gortin Road. No other vehicle was involved.

Three other teenagers in the car were taken to hospital. The driver of the vehicle is in a serious condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

Three young men died when their car struck a wall in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on Easter Sunday morning.

The accident happened on the Beechvalley Road when the car failed to stop at a junction. The men died at the scene.

They have been named as Mr Barry Martin McDonald (20), of Dunavon Heights, Dungannon; Mr Neil Morrow (20), of Drumglass Way, Dungannon; and Mr John Paul Reilly (23), of Sycamore Drive, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.

A total of 55 people have died on the North's roads so far this year.
