DUBAI - Four Saudis confessed on state television yesterday to last year's car bombing of a US run military training centre in Riyadh and said they had been planning further attacks.
In confessions broadcast shortly after the Interior Minister, Prince Nayef, announced their arrest, they said they were influenced by Islamic groups outside the kingdom, including dissident Dr Mohammad alMasari, currently seeking asylum in Britain.
The car bomb exploded at the Saudi National Guard training centre on November 13th last.
