Four men are to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today on charges linked to the killing of a leading loyalist, Mr Robert Dougan, in the city last Tuesday, writes Theresa Judge. The men, who are believed to be from west Belfast, were charged on Saturday night at Antrim Road RUC station. The charges include murder, possession of firearms with intent to endanger life, and withholding information.
Mr Dougan, a leading UDA member, was shot dead as he sat in his car outside a factory in Dunmurry, south Belfast.
