Four men are being held in connection with an attempted robbery in Newry on Sunday night that left a woman in hospital after she was shot in the stomach.
PSNI officers arrested three of the men this morning and one of the men last night.
The raid happened shortly after 11.30pm on Sunday when a man armed with a handgun entered a gaming arcade on Upper Water Street and demanded cash from a female member of staff.
The man then shot the woman in the stomach before fleeing empty-handed in the direction of High Street.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital where her injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Police described the man as being of slim build and average height. He was wearing a blue tracksuit top and used a scarf or bandana covering his face.
