Four men have been arrested following an attempted robbery at a post office in Dublin this morning.
Members from the Organised Crime Unit assisted by the Emergency Response Unit foiled the robbery attempt at the post office in Drumcondra shortly after 9am.
A handgun was also recovered at the scene, which has sealed off for technical examination.
The men are currently being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Ballymun and Store Street Garda Stations.
