Four men have been arrested after gardaí seized €120,000 worth of drugs in a series of raids in Meath, Dublin and Westmeath.
A number of searches were carried out as part of the operation, during which a quantity of cannabis herb was recovered.
Gardaí recovered 3kg of the drug when they stopped and searched a car at Main Street, Dunboyne, Co Meath, at around 2pm. A followup search of a premises in Dunboyne uncovered a further 2kg of cannabis.
A further 5kg of the drug were found during a search of a house in Huntstown, Dublin 15, and 1kg was seized from a house in Athlone, Co Westmeath.
The men, two in their 40s and two in their 20s, are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Blanchardstown and Finglas Garda stations.
They can be held for up to seven days.
