Former Fianna Fáil MEPs James Fitzsimons and Liam Hyland are not proceeding with their applications for orders dismissing High Court actions brought against them by their former secretaries.
Kathleen Egan and Margaret Hackett have sued both former MEPs, alleging they have been left without pensions because, they claim, the MEPs claimed allowances from the European Parliament for two other persons rather than for them.
It remains unclear when the action by the women will go ahead.
