A man is taking a civil action against millionaire dancer Michael Flatley seeking payment of wages and overtime for a period he spent working at Mr Flatley's Fermoy mansion, Castlehyde House.

The plaintiff is Mr Timothy Cosgrove, Saint Bernard's Place, Fermoy. At Fermoy District Court his solicitor, Mr John Hussey, asked Judge Joseph Mangan for a date for the case.

Mr Gerry Healy, for Mr Flatley, said a cheque had been sent to Mr Cosgrove. However, Mr Hussey said the amount was not sufficient and he returned the cheque. He said Mr Cosgrove was seeking damages as well as wages and overtime. Judge Mangan adjourned the case until March 27th.
