Sessions of the Flood tribunal and CIE rail signalling inquiry were postponed yesterday as a mark of respect for the victims of the terrorist attacks in the US.
Lawyers, press and witnesses joined with officials and politicians in observing a minute's silence before the proceedings were adjourned for the day.
