Film star Colin Farrell gave an emotional homily to his grandfather "Gentleman Jim" at his funeral in Dublin yesterday.
Farrell (29) joined mourners at the funeral Mass for Jimmy Monaghan at Our Lady of Good Counsel church, in Drimnagh.
The actor described his grandfather, who died aged 89, as "a true gentleman" and the "most beautiful of men".
"Grandad was the original family man," he said. "Grandad would never curse, so it's fitting that I should now be standing in front of you today," he added.
