A Co Antrim family escaped injury last night when their house was attacked with a petrol bomb.
The family was alerted by a fire alarm when the petrol bomb, which was thrown into their house, set the house alight.
A police spokeswoman said a brick was thrown through a downstairs window followed by the petrol bomb. The family was later treated for smoke inhalation.
The spokeswoman said the front porch of their house was badly damaged. Police do not yet have any motive for the attack.
