Compassion in World Farming has opened a new office and animal welfare information centre in Hanover Street, Cork, which is open to the public.
Mary-Anne Bartlett, director of CIWF Ireland, says, "We hope that through public awareness-raising and education we can help to guide Ireland into the production of high quality, welfare-friendly food. Our aim is for Ireland to enter the new millennium knowing that all our farm animals are treated with respect and compassion." And so say all of us. The new centre is at Salmon Weir, Hanover Street, Cork.
