Karachi - Gunmen yesterday shot dead a leader of an extremist Sunni Muslim group and wounded another in an attack in Pakistan's violence-scarred city of Karachi, police said.
A senior police official linked the killing to religious rivalry. Two men on a motorbike shot dead Sunni Tehrik party officebearer, Javed Qadri (25) with automatic weapons while he sat in his shop in the Ranchore Lines area, they said.
