LONDON - Camelot - the lottery company - officials yesterday emerged as big lottery winners with pay rises of nearly 40 per cent in the last year, according to a leaked report.
Total payments to 10 Camelot executives increased from £1.67 million to £2.32 million despite contributions to good causes falling by £143 million, according to leaked figures seen by Marketing Week.
The results showed total sales of British National Lottery tickets in the year to March 31st, 1997, were £4.7 billion, a drop of 10 per cent on 1996.
