The North's education minister, Mr Tony Worthington, yesterday announced a review of Northern Ireland's examinations body, the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA). The review follows criticism of the examinations body following a series of blunders. Errors incurred by the CCEA included the wrong A-level results being sent out to universities; the leaking of questions in a GCSE history exam paper; complaints about the marking of 14-year-old pupils' assessments and a failure to have exam papers delivered to school.
