Muhammad Ali’s Irish ancestral home town of Ennis is not forgetting the boxing legend as he approaches his 70th birthday.
Ennis Town Council has agreed to a proposal by Frankie Neylon (Ind) that it send a birthday card to Ali ahead of his birthday celebrations next Tuesday.
Muhammad Ali’s ancestor Abe Grady emigrated from Co Clare to the US in the 1860s.
