World number two Ernie Els moved into a tie for the second-round lead at the $4.5 million Bay Hill Invitational.
The South African was five-under-par for the day through 13 holes and one of nine players tied for the lead at three-under when play was suspended due to heavy rain.
Steve Lowery, Australian Peter Lonard and Billy Andrade are among those tied for the lead.
Nine players, including world number one Tiger Woods, are tied at two-under.
Els, who opened with a two-over 74 yesterday, began his second round on the back nine and proceeded to birdie the first four holes to get back under par.
After seven straight pars, Els carded his fifth birdie to gain a share of the lead. Through 14 holes, Lowery was four under and Lonard two under for the round. Andrade was three under through nine holes.
Woods's girlfriend Elin Nordegren collapsed during a rain delay earlier in the day and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Woods accompanied his girlfriend to hospital. He returned to the course later in the day.
