Former Australian international Gary Ella is expected to be confirmed as Leinster's coach at a press conference tomorrow.
The former Wallaby centre will succeed compatriot Matt Williams, who vacated the position earlier this summer to join Scotland where he will replace Ian McGeechan after the World Cup.
Ella, 42, who has worked as a backs coach with the New South Wales Waratahs for the past three years and has previously coached at Sydney club Randwick, is believed to be finalising the details of a contract this evening.
Jon Callard had been tipped to take up the reins at Donnybrook but his late u-turn took the four-man selection panel as far afield as Australia where Ella emerged as the number one choice.
