A father and two sons shot dead eleven of their relatives and wounded six more in a family feud in the southern Iranian city of Jahrom.
Alimohammad Afsaneh, in his 40s, and his two sons, aged 17 and 20, burst into a garden where their relatives were gathering yesterday afternoon and opened fire with assault rifles, according to a judiciary source.
"They killed two of [Mr Afsaneh's] brothers, a sister of his and other members of their family. Altogether eleven people were killed," he said.
"The motive was a long-standing family dispute over money and debts," he added.
