The annual Junior Galway Film Fleadh begins tomorrow in Galway Town Hall and goes on until this Saturday.
This year's theme, appropriately enough, involves looking at young people and children in relation to war and conflict.
Integral to the festival's activities, too, are films from the year's young film makers workshops, four of which will be shown on Friday, from 2.45 p.m.
These include a version of Hamlet transported to New York in 2000, and a Richard III set in a fascist England in the 1930s.
The very young film goer gets a look in this Saturday when there will be a showing of Magic Pudding, an adaptation of a classic 1918 novel for children. Look out for animation workshops on Saturday too (tel: (091) 771.726; e-mail: gafleadh@iol.ie).
