TEACHER RESOURCES: BLASTBEAT: Blastbeat is a performance with two distinct shows. Initially, a group of students form a Music and Multimedia Company (MMC), taking on such roles as journalist, music manager and video crew. Their job is to locate the best musical talent in their area, and organise a Battle of the Bands competition. Then, the bands compete in regional, national, and world finals. Prizes include musical equipment and record deals. For more see blastbeat.org or call 01-6624700
