Then I remember getting up at like 6am the day the CAO points came out, so I could go to Spar to buy the newspaper to see the points @Ragin_Spice
I reckon the points for med are going to be reasonably similar this year (as in no 10 point jumps), because although hpat scores were slightly higher, the 5 points bonus for maths will push points up, but more importantly see that more people reach 550. - fewtinsoffroth, boards.ie

Well if I dont get my 1st choice, Ill probably do arts, in which case Ill be picking German as one of my subjects. I heard from a 2nd year that you get homework in the language subjects after each class, usually translating or writing reviews and stuff - Lucario, boards.ie

The points system is not fit for purpose. The same points are awarded no matter what relevance the subject in question has to the course applied for. You can get to study medicine having failed biology! Daft. – Eric De Red, thejournal.ie
Theres only one course on my CAO that Ive matched all requirements and points (from 2011), and its my second choice so PLEASE GOD :O @ConorDev
