Skerries Community College, Co Dublin, was formerly the Holy Faith/De La Salle College.

Tory Island Post-Primary/Adult Education Centre, Co Donegal, is a new school.

Kilmallock Community College, Co Limerick, involving the merger of one secondary school and one vocational school, opened in September 1998.
