The Northern Ireland Hotel and Catering College, Portrush, Co Antrim (tel: 08 01265 823768), is holding an open day next Tuesday, October 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no need to book, but the college would appreciate notice from large groups.

Last year, students from the Republic constituted 40 per cent of the college's enrolment. This year it will offer its first degree course - in hotel and tourism management.
