Bealtaine is a month long festival given over to celebrating creativity in older people. It's a collaboration between Age and Opportunity and regional arts officers, arts venues around the country, libraries and older people's groups nationwide. It started yesterday and a busy programme of 150 events has been organised right up to May 31st. Events include readings, exhibitions, a writing workshop, musical events and tours to cultural events.
