Readings at TCD
The Oscar Wilde Centre for Irish Writing at Trinity
College Dublin is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of
readings by graduates and writer fellows. The line-up for today is
former creative writing graduate and novelist Claire Kilroy;
playwright, actor and former graduate of the creative writing
course Gina Moxley; and former writing fellow and writer Andrew
O'Hagan, who will give readings as part of the 10-year
celebrations. Venue: The Swift Theatre, Arts Building, Trinity
College Dublin at 7.30pm. There is a €5 cover charge. For

Schools' Spanish Quiz
The annual schools' quiz for pupils of members of
the Association of Teachers of Spanish will take place tomorrow in
St Michael's School, Ballsbridge, Dublin at 7.30pm. The price per
team is €25. You must register your teams in advance. E-mail:

the presentation of the perpetual cup to the winning team. Please
note that native Spanish speakers are not eligible to take

Ocean Energy Lecture at NUI Maynooth
Ocean Energy - a Solution to Ireland's Energy Needs?
is the title of a lecture by Prof John Ringwood on on Friday, April

Justice Catherine McGuinness, president of the Law
Reform Commission, will deliver a lecture entitlted Now That
Getting Older No Longer Means Slowing Down as part of a lecture
