University College Cork Science Public Lecture Series:Complementary and Alternative Medicine - Holistic Healing or Noxious Nonsense? is the title of a lecture by Colin Bradley, professor of general practice, UCC tomorrow at, 8pm in Boole IV Lecture Theatre.

Canadian Studies Lecture at UCD
UCD's Centre for Canadian Studies presents a talk by prominent Canadian playwright Judith Thompson which will explore the idea of the theatre of war and examine the question of when truth becomes fiction, with particular reference to Stuff Happens (David Hare), Frost Nixon (Peter Morgan) and Palace of the End (Judith Thompson). She will also read from her latest play, Palace of the End (2007).
The talk will take place in: Room H204, second floor, UCD Humanities Institute of Ireland (HII) on Wednesday, April 2nd at 4pm.

European Studies in Transition Year
"Europack" is aimed at teachers of European Studies in Transition Year as well as teachers of related subjects for the Leaving Certificate. It includes project ideas, project materials and role plays, and covers topics including European elections and Irish MEPs, the history of Europe, from the age of Charlemagne to the current day and the Lisbon Treaty and the Charter of Fundamental Rights.
