What do you know about the European Union? Transition Year students across Ireland have been taking part in an EU “Fact Test” quiz as part of TalktoEU, a new information campaign from the European Commission which aims to promote greater understanding of the EU in Ireland.

New book on road deaths
Impact, a new book from TV3's Jenny McCudden, tells the human stories behind Ireland's road accidents. The book contains interviews with injured victims, grieving families, medics, firemen and boy racers, and will be of interest to TY students who are taking part in driver education courses. The foreword is written by Gay Byrne, chairperson of the Road Safety Authority.
