The National Parents Council (Primary) is organising a series of free information evenings in Dublin on the new primary curriculum. Tonight, Albert O Ceallaigh and Lucy Fallon-Byrne of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) will give an overview of the new curriculum and what it means for children and teachers.
Next Tuesday, October 19th, staff from the NCCA will look at the content of the curriculum and what children will be learning in the future. On Tuesday, November 2nd, the talk will focus on the role parents can play in the implementation of the new curriculum. The talks each start at 8 pm, the first two at Loreto College, 53 St Stephen's Green, and the third at Wynne's Hotel, 35 Lower Abbey Street. For further information contact the NPC
